Rigi in summer

Hiking trails

Rigi features over 120 km of hiking trails with a spectacular view. The 7 km panoramic trail to Rigi Scheidegg, which is suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs, is a particularly popular route. There are also themed routes such as the flower-lined route, the Mark Twain route, the Wildmannli route, etc. Those looking for something a little more leisurely can take one of the nine trains that go up Mount Rigi.

Play areas

There are lots of play areas on Mount Rigi. Not far from the hotel is Rigiland, which has a selection of games, a water fun park, minigolf and barbecue areas. Its location in the forest, with a spectacular panoramic view over Lake Lucerne, is truly remarkable.

On Rigi Staffel, there is another play area complete with trampoline and Rigi Scheidegg has a large play area with lots of games, trampolines and a Noah's Ark. Rigi Scheidegg can be reached via a panoramic trail (suitable for pushchairs) in around 2 hours.
